What Is a Smart Contract Audit?

Before the specifics: a smart contract audit is an independent security review of a project's blockchain code. Auditors look for vulnerabilities, logic errors and ways the code could be exploited — then publish their findings.

An audit is a strong positive signal. It is not a guarantee. Audited projects can still have bugs, and an audit says nothing about the business succeeding, the token price, or whether the team delivers on its roadmap.

The CertiK Audit

Power X One has undergone a security audit by CertiK, one of the most recognized blockchain security firms in the industry. The published CertiK report covers PowerX OneWallet and its audited code. You can review the audit scope and findings directly on CertiK's Skynet page.

📊 Skynet monitoring

An audit is a snapshot in time — it reflects the code as it was on the audit date. CertiK's Skynet platform goes further by providing ongoing visibility into a project's security profile over time.

Skynet tracks security indicators, audit history, and project activity, updating as new information becomes available. This means you can check the current status — not just what the audit found months ago, but whether anything has changed since.

Think of it this way: the audit is the inspection, and Skynet is the ongoing dashboard. Skynet complements the audit by keeping the picture current — it doesn't replace the need for the original deep review, and neither one guarantees a project is risk-free.

What the Audit Covers — and Doesn't

✅

What It Covers

Independent review of the smart contract code for vulnerabilities and logic flaws. Findings published transparently. Ongoing monitoring via Skynet.

⚠️

What It Doesn't

It doesn't guarantee the code is bug-free, the business will succeed, the token will hold value, or the team will deliver the roadmap. Do your own research.

How I Think About It

When I evaluate any crypto project, an independent security audit is one of the first things I look for. It's not the only factor. I also look at the product itself, who is behind it, how the wallet works, and whether the tokenomics are clearly documented.

For Power X One, the current CertiK record provides an independently published security assessment, while the project also publishes information about its wallet, ecosystem and tokenomics. I don't view any one of those factors as proof that a project is risk-free — they're pieces of the overall picture.

I go deeper into those questions in my honest review of the project.

⚠️ Important

An audit is a security review, not an endorsement or a guarantee. Audit findings and project status can change — always verify current information on the official CertiK Skynet page. Nothing here is financial advice.
